Reports are saying that Diego Costa was so upset that Antonio Conte notified him about his Chelsea future via text that he shared it around with his team-mates.
And now somehow this alleged text has been revealed, however, it seems no-one knows how the media got hold of this text.
Nor can I confirm this is actually true, we know Costa said that he had received a text from Conte, but not Conte or the Club have confirmed any of it at all yet.
Some are saying that Diego Costa made up the text message to spark a move, but the general reporting is that Conte had sent him the message.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, the text read: ‘Hi Diego, I hope you are well. Thanks for the season [sic] we spent together. Good luck for the next year but you are not in my plan’.
Reports are saying that Costa took a screenshot and sent the message around to his Chelsea team-mates.
But no-one in the media has a copy of this screen-shot and I couldn’t find one anywhere.
So I guess we have to take their word for it.
