The 21 year-old has been in impressive form this season, with Lazio legend Stefano Fiore claiming the Brazilian is currently out-performing Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
Anderson has attracted attention from a number of European clubs as a result and according to reports in Italy, Chelsea are monitoring his progress.
The attacking midfielder will cost the Blues £29.3m, which is more than they paid for current star Cesc Fabregas.
Although the former Santos man has recently signed a new deal, keeping him in the Italian capital until 2020, Chelsea are confident they can tempt him into a Premier League switch.
