According to the London Evening Standard, some players from the Chelsea squad believe Alexandre Pato will be their teammate by the time they face Arsenal this weekend.
Corinthians are rumoured to be desperate in their attempts to sell the Brazilian; they are looking for offers of around £10 million for the former AC Milan centre forward.
Chelsea Director Marina Granovskaia has allegedly met with Pato’s agent to discuss a potential move to the Premier League.
The Blues are currently light upfront as Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao are suffering from a bruised tibia and a thigh injury respectively – leaving Loic Remy as Guus Hiddink’s only available first team frontman.
