John Terry’s replacement identified

Chelsea have shown interest in signing Juventus captain, Leonardo Bonucci

The Juventus icon would take some persuading to join the club, after committing his future to the Old Lady last summer.

One factor that may help Chelsea is the arrival of Antonio Conte. The ex-Juve boss has a reportedly good relationship with Bonucci and therefore a move to the bridge could be more likely.

Bonucci is in his prime years at 28, so Chelsea would have to be around £25 million for his services.

Could Bonucci replace Terry?

Chelsea would face competition for the centre back with Man City & PSG eyeing him up.

One player who looks certain to leave Chelsea is John Terry, however the Blues captain is staying positive.

“I’m very hopeful,” Terry said last week. “I’ve been there 21 years and I’ll never kind of give up until it finally happens. But, who knows?”
