Chelsea have nudged ahead of Premier League rrivals Arsenal and Manchester United in the pursuit of Corinthians starlet Malcolm Silva.
Silva, 17, has 25 appearances for the club since breaking into Mano Menezes’ side earlier this year, and has been tipped to emulate the success of fellow Brazilian Neymar.
Corinthians rate him at £20m, but the fee for someone so young will not deter the Blues.
Barcelona are also thought to be in contention, but if Malcolm prefers a move to England, it is thought he would rather head to Stamford Bridge ahead of Old Trafford or the Emirates Stadium.
