Chelsea chairman Bruce Beck has tried to make amends with Jose Mourinho following his sacking back in December.
The Portuguese was sacked following a dismal start to the Premier League campaign, leaving the Blues 16th in the table and miles off the top-four.
Following a 2-1 loss to Leicester City, enough was enough for Chelsea and Beck fired Mourinho after 10-minute talks at the training ground.
However, Mourinho is still deemed a legend at Stamford Bridge and Beck has tried to make amends with the Portuguese by sending him a gift and thank you letter.
According to reports, Chelsea sent Mourinho a replica of the two trophies the club won from last season – the Premier League and Capital One Cup.
It’s believed the former-Chelsea boss will become the next Manchester United manager over the summer, but Beck wanted to make amends with him following the decision to sack him a couple of months ago.
