Chelsea are preparing to make a huge Summer double-bid for Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne and Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani.
The Blues secured the Premier League title yesterday thanks to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, and attentions have already turned to the Summer transfer window.
Jose Mourinho wants to add a couple new faces to his title-winning squad, and according to reports, he’s ready to splash £80million on Clyne and Cavani.
The England international is expected to leave The Saints this Summer after their failure to finish in the top-four and Cavani is reportedly unsettled in Paris due to being played out of position.
Clyne is wanted by Manchester United as well, and Southampton have put a £25m price-tag on the right-back’s head.
As for Cavani, Chelsea would have to fork out around £55m for the Uruguayan, who is also wanted by United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
