Roman Abramovich ready to pay £9.5million to sack Special One

Chelsea are preparing to sack Jose Mourinho after their 3-1 loss to Liverpool.

The Blues fell to yet another Premier League defeat, making it six losses out of 11 games, and Roman Abramovich is now ready to cut all ties with Mourinho.

A brace from Philippe Coutinho and a goal from Christian Benteke were enough to secure all three points for Liverpool at Stamford Bridge yesterday, and despite Mourinho insisting he’s ready to fight for his job, it could be too late for him.

Reports before the game suggested it was a must-win game for Chelsea and for the manager, and it looks like those reports were correct.

Termination

According to numerous sources, Abramovich is preparing to terminate Mourinho’s contract and will pay £9.5million to do so.

Mourinho signed a new long-term deal in the summer worth £9.5m-a-year, but there was a clause in the contract which stated Abramovich would have to just pay-out one year’s salary if he terminates the contract.

Some reports are claiming Mourinho will be sacked before Wednesday’s Champions League game.
