Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is monitoring Aston Villa starlet, Jack Grealish, after he reportedly stalled on signing a new long-term deal at the club.
The 18-year-old, who spent last season out on loan, has built up quite a reputation and is now ready to prove his worth in the Villa first-team after being promoted this Summer by Paul Lambert and Roy Keane.
However, despite being promoted into the first-team at Villa, Grealish then rejected a contract extension and a deal worth £5k-a-week, which has alerted Chelsea boss Mourinho, who is reportedly a big fan of the teenager.
According to reports, Chelsea are keen to wrap up a deal quickly for the midfielder and are hoping they can agree something in January.
If Villa refuse to sell in January, they could end up losing Grealish next Summer once his contract expires.
