Inter Milan enter race to sign Napoli star

Chelsea have been dealt a real transfer blow in their hunt for Napoli winger Jose Callejon as Inter Milan have reportedly entered the race.

Jose Mourinho is worried regarding the future of Mohamed Salah and Juan Cuadrado, with both expected to leave the club in the near-future, with Salah closing in on a season-long loan to AS Roma.

Callejon was one player highlighted as a potential replacement for the Egyptian, but according to reports in Italy, Inter have entered the race and may launch a formal bid worth around £15.5million for the winger.

Inter Interest

According to Tuttosport, Roberto Mancini wants to sign the 28-year-old and could launch a formal bid in the next few weeks as he continues to revamp his Inter squad.

Martin Montoya, Miranda and Geoffrey Kondogbia are the big arrivals already to move to Inter and Callejon could be the fourth.

According to the same report, Inter will try and sweeten the deal by offering Juan Jesus as part of the transfer.

It’s not yet understood whether Napoli will consider selling the former-Real Madrid wide-man however.
