Chelsea are ready to make a mega-bid for Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale.
The Blues are showing serious interest in the Welshman and with him feeling unsettled in Spain, a move back to the Premier League could be on the cards with Manchester United and now Chelsea interested.
United are desperate to wrap up a deal for Bale and could use David De Gea as part of the deal, but now after revealing a strong financial position, Chelsea could scupper the move by launching a mega-offer.
According to reports, The Blues are prepared to offer around £72.3million for the winger.
Bale is struggling in his second season in La Liga and the fans are getting on his back due to consistent below-par performances, and a move to England is getting more and more likely.
If Bale was to move to Chelsea, he would ask for a deal worth around £300k-a-week, making him the club’s highest ever paid player.
