Chelsea’s official Twitter account took a cheeky dig at rivals, Arsenal last night, after they took a 3-0 lead in Germany against Schalke.

The Blues romped into a 3-0 half-time lead thanks to an own goal, a John Terry header and a fine team goal finished off by Willian, but due to Arsenal’s collapse against Anderlecht in the previous gameweek, they knew 3-0 was never safe.

The Gunners were 3-0 up against the Belgium side at the Emirates Stadium with just 30-minutes to go, but ended up drawing the game 3-3 after a remarkable comeback from the visitors, and last night gave Chelsea the perfect chance to take a dig at their London rivals.

Their official Twitter account tweeted: “The Blues going for goal number four here aware that a 3-0 lead can be a dangerous one in the @ChampionsLeague. #CFCLive”

Luckily for Jose Mourinho’s men, they did find that fourth goal, and then a couple of minutes later, they found a fifth ending the night in Germany 5-0.
