Blues to allow keeper to be sold to Bournemouth

Chelsea will allow goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to be sold for a £12million fee, should Bournemouth offer that amount.

It’s thought that the Cherries have already seen a £10million bid rejected for the ‘keeper, and have been told they must up the offer by £2mil to get their man.

Eddie Howe has targeted Begovic to replace Artur Boruc, who turns 37 next month.

The former Stoke ‘keeper signed for Chelsea in summer of 2015 for £18million from the Britannia Stadium.

The shot-stopper, who previously spent five years on the south coast with Portsmouth, still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract in west London.
