Liverpool midfield maestro Philippe Coutinho has sent out a message to Liverpool fans following the announcement of his new five-year deal at Anfield.
Coutinho has become a pivotal figure at Anfield, and looks to be stepping into the creative void vacated by Luis Suarez in the summer.
Speaking after his contract signing, Coutinho said, “I want to thank the fans for the way they have taken to me. I want to pay them back on the pitch.
After tying Coutinho down until 2020, Liverpool will now surely seek to resolve any negotiations with Raheem Sterling before the season is out.
