Juan Cuadrado is set to snub Chelsea and sign an improved deal at Italian Serie A side Fiorentina.

The 26 year-old Colombian has been a long term target for Chelsea, having impressed for the South American country at the recent World Cup finals in Brazil.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho failed in an attempt to sign the £35 million rated player following the tournament.

Following weeks of speculation, Cuadrado has apparently reached an agreement to remain at Fiorentina, with La Viola set to offer him a package of £4 million a season over five years.

Italian media also suggest that Cuadrado wants to be the joint-highest paid player in Florence, alongside German international striker Mario Gomez.
