According to Metro Sport, Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea, has agreed terms with Real Madrid.

The Young Spanish goalkeeper has been Louis Van Gaal’s star man this campaign with several top class saves and he has been quick to rule out a move away from Old Trafford for the keeper as speculation continues over his stuttering contract negotiations.

Real Madrid are interested in bringing him back to his place of birth as Iker Casillas is ageing and near retirement age and they are prepared to meet United’s asking price of £50million.

The doubters and media were all over De Gea like a rash after a torrid few months at the start of his United career making high profile mistakes on his debut v West Bromwich Albion and of course the demolition derby against City.

Since then De Gea has been coached by Frans Hoek, one who is highly rated by Edwin Van Der Sar.
