David Moyes is a man who needs some good news, and it finally looks like something positive is just around the corner.

The Glazers family has given the Manchester United boss over £100million to spend in this month’s transfer window so that he can guide the club to a top-four finish.

It’s been a tough start for Moyes at Old Trafford and there is some serious doubt whether or not they can achieve a Champions League spot for next season, which is worrying for the board at United as it would mean the club take a massive hit financially.

However, in their quest for a top-four finish, Moyes has been backed by the board and has also been given a £100m+ warchest to spend in January and he has recently handed over a five-man wishlist for the club to look over.

The players on the list are; Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke, Borussia Dortmund duo Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan, Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala and Southampton’s Luke Shaw.

Unfortunately for Moyes and co., they are facing the prospect of these players only being available in the Summer, which could leave them without Champions League football and could leave them signing no-one this month.
