Liverpool winger, Raheem Sterling, has confirmed that a new deal is close to being agreed.
The starlet has been in contract talks with the club for the past few months, and despite rejecting a formal offer already, the England international has reassured fans that a new deal will be signed soon.
The 20-year-old felt the first contract offered by the club was disrespectful and un-acceptable, but according to reports, Sterling will be offered a new deal worth £70k-a-week.
When asked about his future, Sterling said: “We’re working on it and hopefully it will be sorted soon.”
