Manchester United Football Club have announced that Angel Di Maria has left the club to join Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine winger only joined the Premier League outfit this time last year, after leaving Real Madrid for £60million, but he failed to settle in England and at Old Trafford.
Di Maria started his United career in impressive fashion, producing a stand-out performance against Leicester City early on during the campaign, but he failed to continue his form.
The 27-year-old refused to go on a pre-season tour with Louis Van Gaal‘s men, and when he was meant to meet up with his team-mates in America, he didn’t show up.
It was then revealed that he was meeting officials from PSG ahead of a medical.
The deal has now been completed and finalised, with the Ligue 1 champions paying £44m for the winger.
