Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, has admitted he will sign a one-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
The 2012 Champions League winner returned to Chelsea in the summer, signing a one-year deal.
There have been rumours that Drogba was going to retire at the end of the season and take up an alternative role at the club, potentially a coaching role.
However, he told French television programme, Telefoot, that he wants to further his already illustrious career.
He said: “Next season, I will still be a player for Chelsea.”
The Ivorian 36-year old has scored six goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Blues this campaign.
