Paris Saint-Germain could sell for just £32million

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been put on red-alert after it was revealed that Paris Saint-Germain will accept offers worth around £32million for Edinson Cavani.

The Uruguayan was brought by the Ligue 1 champions for £45m after agreeing to leave Serie A side Napoli, but according to reports, PSG are now ready to sell for £13m less.

It was initially thought they’d want around £42m, meaning they’d only lose out on £3m, but the latest reports have it that they will accept offers of around £32m.

Arsenal, Chelsea and United have all been strongly linked with signing the striker in recent months, with the Premier League trio all in search for new strikers.

The Gunners are heavily relying on Olivier Giroud right now due to injuries, while both Chelsea and United are struggling for goals with their strikers failing to impress.

Cavani was at in clinical best during his Napoli days, but during his time in Paris, he’s scored 16, 18 and currently he’s on nine goals from 13 starts.

Cavani Unhappy

Despite scoring goals, Cavani is unhappy at the club and it was confirmed by manager Laurent Blanc.

“Cavani? He was not very happy: the players, when they go out, they are rarely happy, so it is not very serious, I can understand it,” Blanc said.

The French champions will be looking to sell the 26-year-old in order to raise funds for an ambitious move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
