AC Milan forward set for Summer exit?

Arsenal target Stephan El Shaarawy has reportedly moved one step closer to a Premier League move after his brother tweeted that the forward ‘really likes’ the Gunners.

The North London side are in need of fresh reinforcements up front, to lighten the workload on Olivier Giroud.

Manuel El Shaarawy, who is Stephan’s agent as well as his brother, has apparently stated that he is keen for his sibling to move to the Premier League.

Arsenal have been linked with an £18.1m deal for El Shaarawy, who has seen his AC Milan side struggle in Serie A this term, sitting in tenth place.

In a tweet by @DavidArmoyal, Manuel is quoted as saying: ” I would like to see my brother outside of Italy, in the Premier League as an example”.

El Shaarawy joined Milan in 2011 from Genoa, and has scored 21 goals in 82 Serie A games. He is known as Il Faraone (The Pharaoh), as his father is Egyptian. The striker was born in Italy.

The quote will only fuel speculation that El Shaarawy will be plying his trade at the Emirates Stadium next season, to boost Arsenal’s title tilt.
