David Luiz dominated  Romelu Lukaku in Chelsea’s 5-0 thrashing over Everton, The Brazilian stood out this week due to how hard he worked to keep the Everton superstar at bay.

EPL team of the week 11: midfielders

The EPL team of the week defenders are Ilkay Gundogan, Ross Barkley, Phillipe Coutinho and Gaston Ramirez.

Midfielder: Centre midfield – Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Midfielder: Paul Pogba (Man Utd)

Midfielder: Phillipe Coutinho (Liverpool)

FACT: Coutniho has provided assists twice or more in a league game on six occasions since making his debut – the joint highest total of any player in the competition in that time (along with Mesut Ozil and David Silva).

Even though I’m not a huge fan of Pogba, he was in fine form for United over the weekend, still not worth the 89million, but top performance none the less.

The EPL team of the week attackers are Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) and Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Forward: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Man Utd)

Forward: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Both these strikers were on fire this week, they both showed they are a dominate force for their clubs.
