Erik ten Hag believes Man United can still finished in the top-four.

The Red Devils secured a laboured 1-0 win over Luton Town who are curerntly fighting for relegation.

The squad has 16 players unavailable in this campaign and have somehow picked up 21 points from 12 Premier League games.

Erik ten Hag will receive the third yellow card of the season and won’t be unavailable for the next game against Everton after the international break.

Despite Man United’s awful start to the season, United are just six points behind first-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Ten Hag believes his side can really progress once the team settles in the next couple of months.

“Even after all the setbacks we are still in a position near the top four,” said Ten Hag via the Mirror.

“And when we start to play well and the team is set for a couple of months, then other teams will get their setbacks and drop points.

“We have won four of our last five League games and if you see all the trouble we had we are in a very good position. That’s a reason to be optimistic. We could have made life easier by scoring early, but we won and kept a clean sheet.”
