Chelsea chase Europe’s leading scorer

Shaktar Donetsk have given Chelsea a £30m price tag for Alex Teixeira.

The Brazilian is currently Europe’s leading goal scorer, with 19 goals in his 13 appearances in the Ukranian Premier League.

It is thought that Jose Mourinho has made the striker his top target in January.

And it seems the move may well be possible if Chelsea are prepared to pay the price.

Chelsea’s current strikers are all currently struggling for form, Diego Costa has hardly set the league alight this season.

Whilst Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy are yet to impress.
