According to reports, Chelsea are preparing a £39 million bid for Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Joao Mario.
The Portugal international impressed as he helped his country win Euro 2016 this summer.
Chelsea are allegedly set to beat Internazionale to the signing of Joao Mario.
Portuguese newspaper Jornal De Noticias claim that the 23-year old’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is trying to materialise a move for his client.
Apparently Joorabchian and Lisbon want Joao Mario to join Chelsea, because they are willing to pay more money up front in comparison to Inter Milan’s offer.
