Reports indicate that Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez is unhappy at the club, and wants to force a move to Liverpool.
Suarez only joined the Serie A side in the summer from Atletico Madrid, in a swap deal that saw Stefan Savic move the other way.
However, he has struggled to make an impact so far for his new club.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of Spaniard Suarez, who has three full international caps.
Talksport claim that Suarez, 28, is unhappy at his amount of playing time, and has demanded that his agents start talks with new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
He has been on the bench for the Italian club’s last six matches, and has only made five league appearances this season, scoring against Frosinone this weekend.
