According to reports, Liverpool centre-back Kolo Toure will not be offered a new contract at the club.

The former Ivory Coast international is expected to be a part of the Reds’ retained list that is set to published today, but for all the wrong reasons.

Toure would be down the pecking order next season behind the likes of Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho and new defensive arrival Joel Matip, meaning Jurgen Klopp is willing to release the two time Premier League winner.

At the age of 35, it is possible that Toure could retire if he was released by the Merseyside club.
