Manchester United are set to win the race for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain- with a £62million bid.
It’s thought that Chelsea tried to sign the striker in January, but he wasn’t interested in a move on the grounds of not being guarenteed a starting place ahead of Diego Costa.
It’s thought United are now ready to enter the race.
Jose Mourinho is expected to take charge of the club and he could set for a reunion with the man he managed at Real Madrid.
Higuain has been in lethal form for Napoli this season, helping the club to second in Serie A with 27 goals in 34 appearances.
