Some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Juventus star Paul Pogba with the news that Barcelona have withdrawn their interest.

Manchester City and Chelsea had earlier this week preparing £300,000 per week bids for the 22-year-old, claim the Daily Star.

Manchester United are also keen on a player who was at Old Trafford earlier in his career.

But one place where he likely won’t be heading is the Nou Camp.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is a fan of Pogba, but admits that signing him is not the biggest priority right now.

Even though Pogba never really made an impact at United, he has certainly done that since arriving in Turin in 2012.

He has made over 100 appearances and scored 25 goals for Juventus, and has honed his skills to become one of Europe’s finest players.
