Manchester United ace David De Gea believes Marcus Rashford can write his name into Red Devils folklore.

Rashford only burst onto the scene in February, after an injury to Anthony Martial.

But the 18-year-old has burst onto the scene, with double strikes in consecutive games, against Midtyjjland and Arsenal.

Rashford also scored in the Manchester derby success against City, and also yesterday against Aston Villa.

That makes it seven goals in just twelve senior appearances for the Wythenshawe lad.

And Spanish stopper De Gea reckons the young sensation can earn his place among the Old Trafford elite.

“It’s unbelievable, no?” he said. “This player is really young and he’s scored many goals.

“Hopefully, for many years, he’ll be in this club and can make history for the club as well. He’s a shy guy, he is a really good lad and a good team-mate. He’s a really good guy.”
