According to reports, the details of Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s Manchester United contract have been revealed before he has even signed it.
Borussia Dortmund’s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed over the weekend that the Armenia international would be moving to the Premier League to play under Jose Mourinho.
United are set to officially announce the 27-year old as their player in the coming days, but German newspaper Bild have leaked details of the transfer before it has actually gone through.
They claim that Mkhitaryan will cost the Red Devils around £80 million, starting with the £34 million transfer fee that will be paid to Dortmund.
The article then suggests that Mkhitaryan will receive a £6.7 million signing-on fee, before signing his £10.4 million-a-year contract (£200,000-a-week over a four-year period).
The former Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder will become Mourinho’s third signing, after capturing centre-back Eric Bailly and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
