Danny Mill suggests Daniel Levy to lower the fee for on-loan Carlos Vinicius.

The 25-year old Brazilian striker has now six goals in nine games in all competitions.

Vinicius moved to Spurs for a loan fee of £2.7million from Benfica and the North London club have the option to make the deal permanent for £40.83million.

But former England full-back Danny Mills has backed Daniel Levy to try and push down the £40.83million fee.

Mills told Football Insider: “It’s one where the fee may change and Daniel Levy will look to do something if that fee has been agreed.

“Clearly they need back up for Harry Kane and he’s doing well at the moment.

“It’s taken a little bit of time to get up to speed and it’s not easy when you’re not playing week in, week out. That’s always tough.

“Again he’s got to work hard in training and show Mourinho what he’s capable of in those situations, do everything he possibly can.

“He looks like he could be a quality player. I think we still need to do a bit more of him in the Premier League, we might see that in European football as well.

“He can’t do more than score goals when he gets the opportunity.”
