Tottenham submit player-plus-cash bid for AS Roma midfielder

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham have lodged their first bid to sign Italian wonderkid Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma.
The Lillywhites have submitted a £20.6m bid and are also ready to offer Toby Alderweireld as a part of an exchange for the 20-year-old.
The Italian midfielder bagged six goals and two assists last season.
The youngster is well known for playing as a central midfielder, attacking midfielder and a right winger; his versatility will be an asset for Mauricio Pochettino if Tottenham succeed in signing him.
Tottenham are keen to do more business in the transfer market after signing French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele for a club record £55m deal from Lyon.
