The Norwegian 45 year old former professional footballer Henning played as a defender for English clubs, Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers before joining Rangers his last career club. Blackburn was his first English Club before joining Manchester United in 1997 where he made 66 appearances and later went back to his former club Blackburn. With 5 own goals he had to his name during his time in the English Football, Berg is seventh in the list though level with the last three players. Henning didn’t only make it to this list about the English league but also he was the first player to win the premier league with two different clubs. 

7. Derek Mountfield    – 6 Own Goals

Derek Mountfield is also a centre-back with many own goals to his name, with 6 own goals to his name he makes it to our list of the Top 10 Players with Most Premier League Own Goals. The former English defender played for several English clubs and its among them that he got to this shame-full list. His fame came after he played for top flight English clubs like Everton and Aston Villa .

One of his 6 Own goals was against Wigan Athletic though his current club Everton won the game 2-1. The 32 year old England International defender Phil Jagielka has so far played for two clubs in his career i.e Sheffield United and Everton where he plays at the moment. The 36 year old England Professional footballer played as a defender for several English clubs, started his career from West Ham United in 1996, joined Leeds United then joined Manchester United where he played the best football of his career and won several titles with the club. With in the 6 own goals he is best remembered when he scored into the back of his net in the 88th minute of the game between Manchester United and Portsmouth.

And former Manchester United player gets into our list, Wes Brown is also an opponent you would rely on to put a goal into his own net, the English professional defender as so far played for only two English clubs and scored six goals into his own club nets. Currently playing for Sunderland where he has already added to his own goals and its like we can still count.

Scoring all his first two own goals against Tottenham Hotspur and his last was against Blackburn Rovers. Jamie Carragher still holds a record of a player to have scored two own goals in one game that he did at Anfield against Manchester United in 1999.
