Atletico Madrid have rejected a bid from Manchester United for goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
That is according to AS, who claim United have identified Oblak as the ideal replacement for the Real Madrid-bound David De Gea.
However, the La Liga giants refuse to enter negotiations with the Red Devils and have now knocked back the Premier League club’s initial £20.1m bid for the Slovenian stopper.
Reports in Spain claim the Red Devils must trigger the 22-year-old’s release clause to land him this summer, which is worth a reported £29m.
Oblak joined Atletico last summer from Benfica and established himself as the club’s No.1 from March onwards following an injury to keeper Miguel Angel Moya.
