Blues looking to bring Man City target to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are planning a sensational bid to bring Real Madrid’s Isco to England.

According to reports in Spain, Jose Mourinho is demanding that the board seal a £35million deal for the playmaker, having been frustrated with the lack of business so far in this window.

The Blues were interested in the attacking midfielder before he moved to Madrid from Malaga in 2013.

And they might get their man two years later as the Spanish giants could be tempted to cash in.

Real paid around £21million to take him to the Bernabeu and the profit could be used to strengthen other areas.

Local Competition

Premier League runners up Man City are looking to provide competition for Isco’s signature however.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini managed the youngster at Malaga and would like a reunion with his former man.

Chelsea are reportedly keen to tie him down, though, before turning attention to their other targets.
