Barcelona’s Brazilian ace Neymar has agreed a deal for next year with Paris St Germain, according to reports in Spain.

The forward is currently on international duty at the Copa America.

But when he reports back for duty at the Nou Camp next season, it could be his last season with the Catalan giants.

Spanish newspaper AS, along with Brazilian outlet UOL, claimed the Brazil forward has a deal in place to move to Paris next summer.

PSG are looking for a marquee signing to replace Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has quit the French side on a free transfer, potentially to sign for Manchester United.

PSG are considering triggering Neymar’s £153 million release clause in a bid to soften the blow of Ibrahimovic’s departure.

At a recent press conference, Blaugrana sporting director Robert Fernandez had insisted the star was set to stay: “Neymar will stay. He will reach an agreement with Barca and he will be here for a long time. The club will make it public when the extension is to be made.”

There are not many clubs on this planet that could afford to sign Neymar, despite the revelation that his current Barcelona contract sees him pick up only £77,000 per week.

He would likely gain a substantial increase at PSG, and a chance to step out of the shadow of Lionel Messi and cast his own one.
