The Blues battle Manchester City on Wednesday night, but who will Conte line up?

League leaders Chelsea lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace on Saturday, some pundits are saying it’s because Conte switched to a 3-4-2-1 formation with Cesc Fabregas playing alongside Eden Hazard behind Diego Costa and Pedro replacing Moses.

However, with Victor Moses likely to return to the squad at right wing-back, we could see Conte to go back to his usual 3-4-3 line-up.

So let’s take a look at how Chelsea Football Club could line up against Manchester City:

Courtois

Wasn’t the best game for him over the weekend, but we can expect him to bounce back and do his best to keep Man City’s attack at bay.

Cahill

Cahill will play a crucial role this match, he will no doubt be on his toes and help Chelsea attack as well.

David Luiz

When hes on hes on, great an man marking and Chelsea will be looking to David to holt the City attacking force.

Zouma

Zouma has had a tough campaign, but when he gets on the pitch he’s a phenomenal player, he will have City frustrated by the end of the game

Alonso

Marcos Alonso starred in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Hull

Fàbregas

Fabregas plays like he has something to prove each match, this makes him a threat, alongside that and his passion, City will find it hard to stop him

Kanté

Kante will run circles around the City defence, if he’s in top form this match, Man City will have a difficult time with him.

Azpilicueta

Cesar will do what he does best and if he brings his A-game, City won’t be able to pass him.

Hazard

Hazard will destroy City, he’s been in top form and this is the time he really kicks in.

Costa

Costa has been training so we can assume he is ready to go.

Pedro

Despite a poor performance against Palace, mainly because he was played out of position, Pedro will fire up this match and quite possibly bag himself a goal.
