Cesc Fabregas refuses to rule out Arsenal return 1

Chelsea’s Spanish midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has admitted that a future return to Arsenal would be “very difficult” to turn down, should the opportunity arise.

Many supporters of the Gunners turned their backs on the 28-year-old, when he made the controversial move to Chelsea in August 2014 – despite previously stating he could never play for another Premier League club, prior to his £26m move to Stamford Bridge.

However, in a Q&A session with international, and former Barcelona team-mate, Gerald Pique, he revealed that a move back to the Emirates Stadium would be tough to decline.

Fabregas was a cult figure at Arsenal from 2003-2011 – making 303 appearances, and scoring 57 goals in North London, before he moved back to the Nou Camp.

He is set to replace the departing John Terry as club captain in the summer, once the veteran defender leaves.
