The Premier League champions drew 1-1 with Barca in the first leg.

Messi’s late strike – his first-ever against Chelsea at the ninth attempt – cancelled out Willian’s effort at Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona hold “a great advantage” heading into the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie with Chelsea at the Nou Camp on Wednesday night, according to Antonio Conte. The Italian thinks his side still have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition, the draw for which takes place on Friday.

Chelsea will be without midfielder Ross Barkley and centre-back David Luiz with injury.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta could return from a hamstring problem which will be assessed before kick-off. Nelson Semedo and Denis Suarez miss out with injury.
