Fiorentina have completed the loan signing of Manchester City fullback Micah Richards, reports Sky Sports.
Richards, who seemed surplus to requirements at City, and was in Italy to complete formalities, before signing a loan deal at Viola.
It appears that the Italian side will have an option to buy the player on a permanent level, once Richards loan deal expires next summer.
The move see’s Richards become the second English fullback to sign for a Serie A club this summer, with Ashley Cole penning a deal at AS Roma.
Richards, aged 26 has been at City for nine years, making 179 appearances for the Sky Blues in the process, however, following his move to Tuscany, his long term future lies away from City.
