The 26-year-old is highly regarded as one of the BPL’s top attacking talents and he has already proved his worth to Chelsea with a string of top performances this season.
And Chelsea legend Lampard believes that Hazard deserves credit for the way he has stepped his game up at Stamford Bridge in recent seasons.
Speaking on BT Sport on Saturday night, Lampard said: “From the moment Hazard came to Chelsea his talent was on display, but he’s developed as a player.
“Now he’s at that point in his career when he has to be the dominant player in that Chelsea team and make things happen.
“And he’s doing it. We keep talking about trying to stay with the top teams who are flying and you need your best players to step up.”
