Frenchman Kurt Zouma is reportedly going to the French side in order to gain some top level experiance to take back to Chelsea. The French starlet joined the premiership outfit in January for a fee of St. Etienne for a fee of £12 million before finishing the remainder of the season with the French outfit.

He is set to meet up with his new Chelsea team-mates for pre-season training soon and it was thought he could be used to plug the gap left after David Luiz’ transfer to French champions PSG.

Despite this, it is belived that Mourinho is not yet convinced that the Frenchman is experianced enougth at the top level to help the blues mount a successful title challenge next season.

Should the deal come off, Zouma will meet up with compatriot Eric Abidal in France and will breathe some much needed youth into an extremely well travelled defence. The youngster may even gain some champions league gametime at the Ligue 1 runner ups.
