Ex-Arsenal man wanted a helicopter and private beach!

Gervinho’s move to Al Jazira has collapsed, after the player asked for a helicopter and private beach as part of a move!

According to reports coming from Italy, the 28-year old claimed he would only make the move if he could have his own helicopter, private beach and unlimited plane tickets to the Ivory Coast.

Originally, it was claimed that the wages were the reason a move was being delayed. However, the real reason now looks to have been revealed.

Roma and Al Jazira had agreed to a £10million deal, and the UAE side side were also prepared to meet the winger’s £85k-a-week wage-demands, but the extra add-ons were one step too far for the club.

The UAE side emphatically rejected these demands and it appears as if he will now be staying in Rome.

Gervinho has been in Italy since 2013 after he completed an £8m move from Premier League side Arsenal.
