Liverpool defender, Glen Johnson, has revealed it’s likely that he’ll be leaving the club at the end of the season.
The right-back’s current deal at Anfield expires in the Summer and he has recently confirmed that there are no talks taking place regarding a new deal.
The 30-year-old has confirmed that he hasn’t heard from anyone at the club about a new deal and has also revealed that several clubs from abroad have contacted him regarding a potential move.
Due to the Bosman Ruling, Johnson could agree a contract already with any overseas club and that looks more likely now that he’s confirmed no talks are taking place with his current side.
He said: “[There have been] no talks.
“At this point I have no idea [where I will be next season]. I haven’t thought about it.”
When asked if his future is away from England, the defender replied with: “There are talks.
“It would be great for the kids to go abroad but I am not thinking about yet as we have two months left here and I’ll think about it after that.
“We will have to wait and see.”
