Gnabry taking Lyon seriously ahead of crucial CL clash!

Serge Gnabry has said that he doesn’t think beating Lyon will be a walk in the park.

The German side are in a hot run of form after beating Barcelona 8-2. However, their star winger Serge Gnabry has insisted that they will not be taking Lyon lightly in the next match.

He said, “If you look at the match against Barcelona then, yes, it was an exclamation mark – everyone heard about this result.

“But this a different match. It is a semi-final. They’ll be well prepared, it will be no walk in the park. We have to focus and be ready from the first minute.

“We know they’ve beaten Juventus, they’ve beaten Manchester City and both those teams were favourites. It looks like we’re favourites now and we have to be careful.

“Every single player was surprised by the result (against Barcelona), we couldn’t believe it, but we want to achieve more. We want to win.”

Bayern boss Flick also spoke in the same tune.

Flick said at a press conference: “I am relaxed because I know my team is greatly focused and have great objectives.

“But we all know it is one match which starts at 0-0 and we have to play 90 minutes with the same drive and intensity as we did against Barcelona.”
