Mario Gotze has claimed he was never going to leave Bayern Munich in the summer.
The 23-year old was linked with a move away from Germany during the summer transfer window, with many believing he would make the move to the Premier League. However, he has now revealed that he was never going to leave Bayern.
He said to Suddeutsche Zeitung: ” I never thought about moving. There may well have been other clubs interested in me but I had no interest in leaving Bayern.
“I feel very, very good here and I’m glad to be a Bayern player.”
It looks the Germany international doesn’t have plans to leave the Allianz Arena anytime soon.
