Six players are set to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer as the squad will be revamped by Arsene Wenger.
Joel Campbell, Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Mathieu Flamini, Carl Jenkinson and Yaya Sanogo may all be moving at the end of the season.
The Gunners want to raise £50 million for their transfer window budget and to do so they must offload some players.
Joel Campbell impressed at the 2014 World Cup in a Costa Rica team that surpassed expectations, but he hasn’t been given a chance to showcase such talents at Arsenal this season. The striker could be sold for around £8-£12 million.
Theo Walcott has failed to work his way back into the Arsenal first team picture, after recovering from a long-term cruciate ligament injury. The England international only has one year left on his current deal and is yet to sign a new contract.
Walcott has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield, he may join Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool for a reported £20 million.
On the other hand, Lukas Podolski is almost guaranteed to leave in the summer. The 29-year old is surplus to requirements to the Emirates, this was shown as he was shipped out on loan to Inter Milan back in January.
Flamini has been the subject of many critics this campaign, including Gary Neville, who slated his tactical performance during a 2-2 draw away at Liverpool. Wenger will be hoping to raise a couple of million pounds for the man who rejoined the Gunners on a free.
Both Carl Jenkinson and Yaya Sanogo have both been somewhat misfits at Arsenal. After failing to nail down a first team spot, they were both sent out on loan to West Ham United and Crystal Palace respectively.
Jenkinson has had a solid season at London rivals West Ham, who want to make him a permanent member of their squad for around £10 million.
Sanogo is a young striker and wants to know where his future lies. He is unsure about a long-term career in North London and may think about moving abroad, but ideally the Gunners want him to take another Premier League loan spell.
