Harry Kane has revealed he’s raring to play for England and put his recent injury troubles in the past.
The England international has spent 7 weeks on the sideline for Tottenham with an ankle injury, but returned yesterday in the North-London derby, scoring and earning a point for Spurs.
He’s now been named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the final international games of the calendar year.
Kane said: ‘It gave me seven weeks off to rest the other muscles that haven’t been rested in a while. It’s good. I got fit and I made sure I stayed healthy.
‘I never want to be injured or missing games. But when you get injured you have to look at the positives to help you.’
